What is a SAP Evaluation?

A SAP evaluation is a federally required assessment for individuals who’ve violated DOT drug and alcohol testing regulations. It determines whether you’re ready to safely return to work in a safety-sensitive role and outlines any necessary steps before doing so.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is this SAP evaluation DOT-compliant? Yes. All evaluations follow DOT guidelines (49 CFR Part 40, Subpart O) and are conducted by a qualified SAP.

Q: Can I use insurance to pay for this service? No. Insurance is not accepted for SAP evaluations. Payment is self-pay only.

Q: How soon can I be scheduled? Most clients are scheduled within 48 hours after onboarding documents are submitted and payment is received.

Q: Do you offer virtual evaluations? Yes. We offer both virtual and in-person appointments, depending on your preference and location.

Q: What happens after the evaluation? You’ll receive a written recommendation for return-to-duty steps and support for follow-up compliance as needed.
